Pelsall Villa Colts JPL
We returned to football this week following the winter break and postponed fixtures last weekend due to the weather.
*Midweek*
Pelsall Villa Colts 7 v 2 Rushall Olympic
We felt it was a good idea to arrange a friendly for our midweek training session to get back into the swing of things and it was like we've never been away. We played some great football linking up well with some give and goes. We ended up with a convincing 7-2 victory but the football was a joy. Rushall struggled with our fast paced pressure, something we've been working on for a while.
PoTM - Zac. He dominated in midfield and finished with 2 cracking goals and a superb assist.

*Saturday*
Pelsall Villa Colts 4 - 1 Bilston Town
Another strong team performance saw us race out into a 3-0 lead and at that point it looked like it could be a cricket score. We were relentless. After taking the first third 3 nil up Bilston made a few adjustments and the 2nd third was quite an even game, very physical and just waiting to explode into life, a few chances went just wide and that third ended with no goals, 3-0. We said to the lads we felt they were holding onto the ball a little too much so focus on what we do best and that's pass and move. Bilston grabbed a goal as we couldn't clear but from then we had 3 or 4 good chances to put the game beyond doubt when the 4th finally came through good pressure forcing the mistake to make it 4-1.
