❤️ WHY WE DO MUZZFEST - FOR MUZZA ❤️
In the build-up to Muzzfest, we'll talk plenty about what's happening on the day - the music, sport, raffle, food and drink.
But Muzzfest exists for one reason.
Aaron "Muzza" Murray. 🖤🤍
For those of us who knew Aaron, Muzzfest is a chance to remember our mate.
To remember the laughs, the stories and the good times.
To remember someone who was part of our football club, our social club and our community - and who is still very much missed by the people who knew and loved him.
Losing Aaron left a space that can't be filled.
But Muzzfest gives us one day each year when we can fill the club with many of the things that remind us of him instead.
Friends. Family. Football. Music. A few beers. Plenty of laughs.
And probably more than a few stories about Muzza that get better every time they're told. 🍻
That's why this day means so much more than simply putting on an event.
It's about keeping Aaron's memory alive.
It's about people coming together because of him.
And it's about taking that love for our mate and turning it into something positive, by raising as much money as we can for fantastic causes in his name. 🖤🤍
Last year, our community came together and made it an incredibly special day.
On Sunday 30th August, we get to do it again.
So come down. Bring your family. Bring your mates. Have a laugh. Make some memories and help us raise as much as we possibly can.
But most importantly...
Come and raise a glass to Aaron. 🍻
