Delighted to announce after being crowned League Champions of TJFA U9 Grey (9) Division, our U10 Girls have been promoted 2 Divisions and will be competing in TJFA U10 Orange (7) this season! 🟠🏆

A tough season ahead, with some new faces involved, we can’t wait for Sunday Football to be back! 🤩

Maria’s last game for us on Sunday as she makes the move to Sunderland AFC! The girls all signed a shirt for her to take away, we wish her all the best in the next part of her journey! 💫

MARIA SIGNS FOR SUNDERLAND 🔴⚪️✍🏻

A massive congratulations and good luck to our number 8 Maria, who will be joining Sunderland U10 Academy for the 2026/27 season! 📝

After receiving offers from both Sunderland & Durham, Maria has settled on Wearside and joins up with the black cats 🐈‍⬛ in August.

She becomes our 2nd academy graduate from our talented pool of players, as she has established herself as one of the top players in the North East at both U9 & U10 last season! ⭐️

Not official stats, but Maria was prolific from CM last season, scoring in around the 50 goal mark on Saturdays & Sundays! A true box to box, combative midfielder, with magic feet and a real desire to improve, compete and win! 🔋🪄

One of our day ones, from all the way back at U6, we are extremely proud of Maria and excited that she has earned this opportunity! We have no doubts that she will absolutely smash it! 🤩

She’ll be missed on and off the pitch, as will her family who are a big part of our BR family! Once BR, Always BR! ❤️

She leaves a Boro Rangers Legend, and we can’t wait to see how far she goes! 👏🏻

A big test for our U10s this morning as we took on Boro Rangers U9 Boys Division 1 side. 🙌🏻

A different kind of challenge for us, taking on a more technical opposition that we are used to. The boys had some standout players, they moved the ball well, were sharp all over the pitch and confident in their 1v1s. ⚡️

Our girls took it to them however, with some big tackles and trying to use their physical presence. A very fast paced game, the girls had to be switched on at all times. Harper was called in action on multiple occasions and made some great saves, while the rest of the team can be pleased with their performance! 👏🏻

These girls were on fire today, our newest Riverside girls have found their feet after numerous boys games today was without a doubt their best performance to date!

Riverside U10s back at it this morning vs a boys side.

2-2 with some great football played. An excellent first half performance, good again in the 2nd but some tired legs towards the end.

U10s on fire this morning. 🔥

A tight close game in terms of scoreline, but the girls were in complete control. Some fantastic football played, moving the ball, switching it and getting everyone some touches.
