When the transfer window slammed shut, we didn’t just sign a few players… we built a whole new structure!

✅ 23 talented players in the squad
✅ Expanded into THREE teams
✅ Competing at both U9s and U10s

🔶 U9 GOLDS — Moving up into U10 Division 1 and are ready to compete!

🔴 U9 REDS — U10 Division 2
Level up! Moving to a 7‑a‑side format following last seasons success and ready for the challenge!

⚪ U9 WHITES — Our newest team entering U9 Division 2, a talented squad, huge potential, already showing fantastic progress!

⚽️U9 GIRLS – WANT A REAL CHALLENGE?⚽️

Play a year up!

We are expanding our squad and moving another team to 7‑a‑side football at U10 level this September. 👏🏻

We are looking for experienced U9 players ready to test themselves against an older age group, develop faster and take their game to the next stage.

✅ Eligibility: Girls currently U9 / moving into Year 4 this September
✅ Training: Monday & Thursday evenings
✅ Matches: Saturdays in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance (TJFA)
✅ Great coaching, positive environment and strong competition

Help your daughter stretch her ability and be part of an ambitious team.

⚽️Match Report - Sunday 28th June ⚽️

A brilliant and valuable run-out for the girls this weekend, facing a very well organised and strong boys side. It was fantastic to get plenty of game time under our belts, with extra minutes especially giving our newer players a chance to settle into their new squad.

One excellent goal came from Olivia, set up perfectly by Florence T 👏🏻👏🏻.

Player Awards

POTM
Lexi – Outstanding work between the posts. She stood firm under pressure in the box, got stuck in, and pulled off some cracking saves.

OMPOTM
Florence – Constant threat going forward. Made some terrific runs and struck the ball really well, making life very difficult for the opposition defence.

Team Highlights

Daisy – Brilliant energy all over the pitch. Strong tackles and great forward runs, covering every blade of grass out there.

Macy – Great movement and blistering pace on the break. Caused their defence constant problems and had some really good efforts in and around the box.

Harriett – Tough and determined in every challenge. Won plenty of key tackles and was brilliant at winning the ball back for her team.

Olivia – Rewarded for her persistence with a goal. Kept fighting for every chance and worked tirelessly to create openings.

The girls were brilliant, stood up well to the challenge, and everyone came away having gained so much from the game.

⚽️ WHAT A DAY AT THE QUEEN OF THE NORTH! 👑

Huge congratulations to our U9 Girls today– they’ve battled their way to the final of the U10s Silver Cup! 🥈✨

The standard of football on show at the tournament was absolutely brilliant – every single player and team gave their all.

What an achievement to reach the silver final against such strong opposition! 👏💪

And we’ve got another reason to celebrate – massive congratulations to our Boro Rangers U10 Girls, who went and TOOK THE CROWN by winning the Gold Cup! 🏆👑 Absolute champions!

We’re so proud of every single player who took part today, the future of Boro Rangers Girls U9s is bright! 🔴⚪️

More brilliant football on Saturday – our girls were back in action for the U10s Girls First Academy GFA Cup!

Our U9s stepped up an age group and fought all the way to the plate semi-final, fantastic effort against some really talented opposition.

🤝 Team Spirit On & Off the Pitch
A special mention to the girls who stepped in to support our U10s squad – helping maximise everyone’s game time and showing exactly what Boro Rangers is all about. Well done to Florence, Daisy, Iris and Lexi.

A great day of football, well organised and competitive throughout. Huge thanks to all the tournament organisers, volunteers, and parents for making it such a positive experience.

What a fantastic Friday night of football at the MFC Foundation Premier League Kicks Tournament at Herlingshaw Centre, Eston!

🏆 U9s 5v5 Team – PLATE WINNERS
Outstanding performances and fun all round, and a great day seeing Penelope, Florence and Harriet lift their first ever competitive silverware after only a few training sessions with the club. Also a big thanks to Ellie who jumped in with the girls and was a superstar. Well done, girls!

🥈 U10s 7v7 Team – CUP RUNNERS-UP
Stepping up an age group and reaching the final shows real quality and courage playing against some really talented teams. So proud of how they played.

A brilliant event overall – it’s great to see so many strong, competitive girls’ teams and such a high standard across the board. Thanks to MFC Foundation for hosting a great evening.
