Player recruitment for our Saturday team Kader FC who will be competing in the RFYL Division 1 next season 26/27

We are looking for a keeper and all other positions will be considered

After a successful first year in the RFYL, we are looking for players who are capable of playing in the top Divisions

TATA STEEL 25/26 Gold Cup Runners up 🥈

22 Teams & made the final 2

What a day for the lads. Some top teams in this tournament today down at Redcar. After topping a difficult group stage, the lads then went into the quarters, semis and the then into the gold cup final narrowly missing out on the cup.

Great achievement from all the players today you done Kader FC proud 👏🏼

Big well done to the lads today. Played in a high level tournament against some of the best teams in the north east and finished joint top in their group stage.

Went into the cup semi final and a narrow defeat to Boro Rangers blues.

No subs - 5 games played we couldn’t have asked for anymore.

It’s been a very good few weeks for the lads in what’s been a good preseason so far ⚽️

Onto next Sunday and another tournament

The lads had an away friendly this morning against RFYL premier division champions Hetton Juniors Inter.

Playing 11 v 11 and 3 x 25min games.

A good test for the lads playing their second 11v11 against a quality footballing side. The lads played some good football, with some new players in the team and trying different formations we couldnt have asked for any more.

Hetton had some good spells of possession and Kader worked hard defensively to keep them at bay. Both teams had chances in on goal but nothing come of them.

A penalty to Inter in the second 25mins was the only goal in the 3 x 25mins played.

Plenty of positives to take from the game as we look to continue our preseason in a tournament next weekend ⚽️

Elliot’s had an outstanding season. A well deserved award. His work rate and pressing along with his goal tally has been very impressive, drawing interest from numerous academies and securing a trial with Newcastle United. Well done Elliot

Noah’s first season playing with us in the RFYL. He settled in straight away. Strong in midfield and grabbing his share of goals you can see why the lads chose him as their players player. Well done Noah

Shay has been very good for us this season playing at the back. Strong challenges and confident on the ball has been great to watch this season. Always looking to find that positive pass. Well done Shay
