And that’s a rap…
Today the boys played their final game of the season, and what a game it was. They each picked their own positions which they wanted to play and simply enjoyed themselves, which was brilliant to see. The game saw goals from our own box, our keeper taking on the entire team 😂 and some amazing defending and tackles from them all!
It wasn’t just the end of the season, but sadly also the last time this group of boys will play together. Some are moving on to new challenges, and Ryan and Mick are also unfortunately stepping down from managing the team due to personal/work commitments which ultimately means the team will now fold.
A message from the managers;
“The last two years have been amazing, we’ve seen the team grow in confidence and also form some really good friendships! We feel lucky you chose us to be a small part of your childhood and we wish you all the luck in the world for your future I’m sure you’ll all smash it whatever you do!”
Man of match went to Wiktor who battled for every ball got himself two goals and was relentless on the pitch!
