The brand new Aberfan U7 Girls team started tonight and absolutely loved it.

If your daughter is in year 1 or younger wants to give it a go training will be in the grove field every Thursday 6.30pm-7.30pm. They won’t be disappointed 😀😀😀

This weekend saw Aberfan Women head off on tour to Tenby, and it's fair to say everyone in Tenby knew we were there! 🤣
On Saturday, we had the pleasure of playing a friendly against Kilgetty AFC . Thank you for being such fantastic hosts and for sharing an afternoon full of football, laughter, and great memories with us.
After a demanding and high-intensity season, Aberfan Women decided to do things a little differently. Players drew names and positions out of a hat, and it's safe to say everyone managed to sweat out their hangovers! 🤣
It was a fantastic weekend filled with fun, laughter, and team bonding that brought us even closer together.
The weekend also marked the end of an era for three of our ladies as we say goodbye to Nicoll Rees, Courtney Jayne Bishop, and Amy Louise Chamberlain.

It's safe to say that all three of you have always brought the party to life and played a huge role in the togetherness and spirit of this team. While your footballing journeys may be coming to an end, you will always be part of the Red Family. We thank you for everything you've given to the club and wish you all the very best in whatever comes next.

Aberfan football club presents a day not to be missed on the 15th of August. Starting with a pram race in the morning, followed by some eye catching performances in the evening with stars in their eyes.

We have spaces available in the pram race and spaces for some more acts who want to perform in the evening.

Just over half of the tickets have already gone. If you are interested please get in touch early enough for your tickets to avoid disappointment.

Everyone is welcome, providing you have got a ticket 😀

A year ago today, Aberfan Women’s held their very first training session.

With just 8 women turning up, nobody imagined there would be enough interest to build a team for the upcoming season.

Fast forward 12 months, and we now have 28 active players, with even more women wanting to join. It’s incredible to see how much this team has grown and how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.

Finishing 3rd in our very first season is an amazing achievement, and we’re already determined to push even higher next season💫

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — this is only the beginning ❣️
