Hosting a 3-way County Match today in sweltering heat with players from Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Yorkshire. Great teamwork to deliver a super day of bowling. Thank-you to greenkeeping, club members, officials, supporters and players. The victorious South Yorkshire team proceed to the Men’s Veterans County Championship Finals 2026.

Lovely evening. 16 members of Matlock 41 Club enjoying an introduction to crown green bowling. In appreciation of the bowlers’ hospitality, friendship and fun a donation of £80 was made. This to be passed on to Ashgate Hospice.

Matlock Golf Club Bowls Section is pleased to invite you to our FREE Bowls Taster Sessions.
Whether you are completely new to bowls or looking to get back into the game, this is a great opportunity to come along, have a go, and meet our friendly members.

Session dates:
Friday 29th May 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Sunday 31st May 2:00pm to 5:00pm

All equipment and refreshments will be provided, just wear flat-soled shoes and comfortable clothing.
Everyone is welcome, so feel free to bring along friends or family who may be interested.
