01-09-26 The first of our joint club runs which was enhanced by the autumn rain along the Keswick to Threlkeld route.

32 runners from both clubs came together for a great evening socialising and running.

CAC – Workington 5k Series Race 4 🏃‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏃🏼‍♀️

Thank you CAC for hosting the 5k series 2026 which has been a huge success for our NAC 🇩🇪 team of runners.

Thunder & Lightning ⛈️threatened to steal the show but the real show stealers were the 112 competitors for the 4th & final race of the season. 👏👏👏

A team of 12 racers from NAC provided sterling performances with PB’s, category wins and 🥁🥁🥁………

FOUR OVERALL SERIES CATEGORY WINNERS!!

Huge Congratulations to David, Susan, Lynne & Karen who lifted the winners trophies for their individual categories over the series 4 races.🥇🥇🥇🥇

Emily had a fantastic race achieving first 🥇in her age category and Lindsey & Fiona were 2nd 🥈🥈their categories.🤗👏👏

Lindsey was also 7th female home, the first NAC runner knicking a whopping 33secs off her PB to come in at 22:41 💪💪

Well done to all of our runners last night for turning up and taking part 🇩🇪🇩🇪👏👏🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪

Kicking off September in Style!

On Tuesday 1st September CAC & NAC will be meeting up for a 10k social run starting at Keswick Baths at 18:00.

There will be refreshments afterwards and more socialising in Spoons.

NETHERHALL AC 🇩🇪🇩🇪& FRIENDS- RUN THE LIGHTS BLACKPOOL SOCIAL EVENT

A fabulous day & night out from start to finish for Netherhall AC & friends plus three delighted runners who were absolutely buzzing to receive the 3 NAC places which came spare at the last minute.🤗

From start to finish the day was filled with laughter & camaraderie – thank you Karen, Annette & Jade for all your organisation, including the last minute bus upgrade 😉, the spot prizes and the lovely cake supplied by Paul 🙌🙌

Wow NAC have the second largest club representation in Saturdays Run the Lights in Blackpool🇩🇪🇩🇪

We have a BUS from MARYPORT and there are 3 racing places available on this sold out run.

If you want to join us the deadline is 9 pm tonight but get in quick to avoid disappointment.

02-08-2026 Workington Festival of Running - you did not disappoint!!

More than just a race day, today’s Festival of Running based at Workington Cricket Club was a great event for runners, friends and families to run and relax afterwards with refreshments and great weather 🌤️

The event was exceptionally well organised - thank you - well done to all the volunteers and Marshalls 👏👏👏👏👏👏.

Congratulations to David & Susan securing first place in their respective categories.

The prizes were made more special as they were received by both on the podium made by David himself!!
