What Are the Different Types of Massage?

Swedish massage-

Swedish massage is a gentle full-body massage that’s great for people who:

Are new to massage
Want to release tension
Desire gentle touch

Deep tissue massage-

Deep tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It’s a good option if you have muscle problems, such as:

Soreness
Injury
Imbalance
Tightness
Chronic muscle pain

Sports massage

Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle, such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you’re prone to injuries, because it can be used to help prevent them.

Sports massage can:

Increase flexibility
Improve athletic performance
Relieve pain
Reduce anxiety
Release muscle tension

The most effective brain training exercises are those that are Challenging, New and Complex and you can incorporate this into your workout routines👌🏼

DON’T LET THE LOWER BACK BECOME A WEAK LINK IN YOUR CORE 🍎
The erector spinae muscles in the lower/lumbar region keep you upright .. But become stressed from bending, sitting, walking and running etc causing them to tighten up☝🏼
Try adding the Back Extension into your daily stretch/workout routine. Keep the reps low (x5-10) and don’t lift your head up so high it causes you discomfort in your back 🚫

It’s not because we’ve fallen out of love with exercise, Its just we ran out of motivation to get up and do it
1️⃣ Stop paying attention to those that promote things like .. Cardio is the only way to lose weight blah blah
2️⃣ Be creative and realise how good it feels to work your body and use your muscles- YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED

Since I paid, I will be forced to go’ is something you may have said to yourself when paying for a Gym membership/.
It may work for a ‘short’ while, but you soon see your motivation cannot hinge on what’s external ☝🏼
True motivation comes from what’s internal- To improve your health, Have the energy and fitness to play with your grandchildren, The ability to fight off illness or even Reduce stress, will help you find a way to exercise, and the location will be the least of your problems! 🌳💪🏼
Remember the only requirement you need, is to be stronger than your excuses 🏆
