Creating an environment where people feel comfortable, supported and excited to come back is at the heart of everything we do.

To hear that F left her trial session absolutely buzzing and already looking forward to her Thursday gym sessions is exactly why Inclusion Fitness was created in the first place.

Finding the right environment can make all the difference. We know that for many people, traditional gym and sports settings don’t always feel accessible, comfortable or suited to their needs. Inclusion Fitness was built to change that — to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and able to thrive.

Our Monday Midday Momentum class has been growing in strength, confidence and community over the past few months, and we now have 3 spaces opened up!

This 45-minute lunchtime session is the perfect opportunity to step away from your desk, move your body and invest some time in yourself.

Expect:
✅ Full-body workouts
✅ A supportive, welcoming group
✅ Strength and fitness training
✅ Plenty of encouragement

💚 Introducing… Inclusion Fitness Juniors 💚

We’re so excited to be launching a brand-new small group gym club for children aged 8–12 this summer 🌟💪🏻

Inclusion Fitness Juniors is a 1-hour small group gym session where children will have the opportunity to use real gym equipment in a fun, supportive environment.

Sessions will focus on building confidence in the gym while improving strength, fitness and movement skills through exercises using equipment such as sleds, weights and more.

📅 Tuesdays | 28th July – 18th August
⏰ 9:45am – 10:45am
🌟 Limited to 8 children per class

- £12 per class
- £40 for the full 4-week block booking

💚 Please note: this small group class is designed for children who are able to participate independently within a group environment. Children requiring 1:1 support may be better suited to our personal training sessions.

It was so special to have F come back and visit the gym recently 💚

F used to be one of our clients, and seeing him walk back into one of his safe spaces so comfortably meant such a lot. Straight away he wanted to see Natalie, say hello to Ruby and get involved with the equipment again like no time had passed 💪🏻✨

Moments like this are such a reminder that Inclusion Fitness is about so much more than weekly sessions. It’s about creating a space where people feel comfortable, supported and part of a community.

We’re so proud of Emily 💚

Emily first joined us through our Wednesday evening inclusive small group, and since starting her sessions, it’s been amazing to watch her confidence grow.

More recently, we invited her to get involved in helping with our Senior Strength & Mobility class, giving her the opportunity to step into a new environment, help demonstrate exercises and continue developing her skills around fitness.

She absolutely loved it, and it was so lovely to see her confidence shine through while encouraging and supporting others in the session too🌟

At Inclusion Fitness, creating opportunities for people to grow, feel capable and try new things is such an important part of what we do, and Emily is a brilliant example of that 💚

Goodbyes… this is definitely the part of my job I like the least 💔

This week I said goodbye to my lovely client Sienna, who I’ve had the privilege of working with for the past 3 years, and what a journey it has been.

When I first met Sienna, she struggled to concentrate for long periods, found balance and coordination difficult, lacked confidence in herself and her abilities, and couldn’t manage a full 45-minute session. Although she enjoyed exercise, movement and PE lessons could often feel overwhelming, especially in larger group environments where distractions made it difficult to focus and engage.

After initially working together in a school setting, Sienna then started attending sessions at the gym, and that’s where the real growth began. Not just physically, but emotionally too.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve watched her confidence grow, her coordination improve, her strength increase and, most importantly, her belief in herself develop. The young girl who once doubted whether she could do things now walks confidently into the gym each week and completes full 45-minute sessions with determination.

She trap bar deadlifts, barbell bench presses, completes exercises like bird dogs and deadbugs with ease (which definitely wasn’t possible at the start!) and throws herself into challenges with resilience and confidence.

Sienna’s journey is proof that with the right environment, support and encouragement, young people with SEND can absolutely thrive. Their needs do not limit their potential.

What makes this even more special is that Sienna is now moving on to attend a small group PT session with her mum at her mum’s gym, something that would have felt unimaginable 3 years ago.

All the credit goes to Sienna herself. She has shown up week after week, listened, persevered and continued pushing herself outside of her comfort zone.

I’ll definitely miss our reaction button play-offs… after 3 years I was almost beating you — almost! 😂

Sienna, I am so proud of you and everything you’ve achieved. Remember, our door at Inclusion Fitness is always open to you 💚

On Saturday we completed a 13-mile trek across Snowdonia for Alzheimer’s, and what an experience it was! ⛰️

The first 6 miles felt pretty easy and we honestly started thinking, “What’s all the fuss about?” But after a very quick 7-minute lunch stop, the real challenge began. From there, it was tough going — a 1400ft incline, rough terrain, and very tired legs.
But on the flip side, the views were incredible, the atmosphere was amazing, and most importantly, remembering the reason we were doing this kept us going every step of the way.

Honestly, we could not have done it without all of your support. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, sent good luck messages, and checked in throughout the trek, it really meant the world to us.
Our legs are still recovering, but our hearts are full of pride and a huge sense of achievement after completing it!

Tomorrow’s the day 👣⛰️💛

We’ll be taking on Trek 26 for Alzheimer’s Society, walking 13 miles through Snowdonia National Park for a cause that means so much to us.

Alzheimer’s has affected a number of our families, as well as some of the clients we work with, so being able to raise money and awareness for this charity feels incredibly important.

We’re ready for the challenge (even if our legs might not be by the end 😅) and we’ll be sharing updates from our travels along the way, so keep an eye on our stories 👀
