A brilliant evening at the Berks & Bucks FA Grassroots Football Awards celebrating the incredible volunteers who make grassroots football so special. ⚽👏

Massive congratulations to our coach, Keva Herbert, on being Highly Commended in the Coach of the Year (Male Pathway) category. While he didn’t take home the top award, just being nominated—and recognised—is a huge achievement and so richly deserved.

To think we’ve only been part of the club for two years, it’s amazing to have a coach who gives so much of his time, energy and passion to helping every child develop, enjoy football and grow in confidence. The impact he has on the players and families goes far beyond what happens on the football pitch.

Well done, Keva. We couldn’t be prouder to have you as our coach. 💙⚽

Well done to this mixed Royals team this morning at Aston Clinton put together and entered at 9pm last night😂 to fill the last slot.

All the boys were up late watching the 3 lions last night and after a very sleepy start finally woke up and started playing the Marlow Way, they all had to put a shift in against some tough opponents and put on a fighting spirit in the final to go all the way 💙

Another Fantastic Weekend of Football and thanks to Flackwell Heath Minors for another great event🫶💙

3 Teams took to the stage this weekend and I must say the football throughout the club is a joy to watch, doesn’t matter what level they are they stick to the club’s philosophy and it’s only a matter of time before everyone gets their rewards.

And on that well done to our U8 Youth team winning the U9 section great achievement after so many near misses recently finally getting their rewards and doing it with such great Core Values on show 🫶🏆💙 the football side I’m starting to run out of words for just a pleasure to be part of 💪🏻

Marlow Town, probably our biggest success story whenever we coach this group chaos but the best kind, the kind where you become a kid yourself again and realise what we’re here volunteering for and it’s all about these kids having the best experience from football we can give them, if we can inspire these kids to become good people but also stay in love with the game then we’ve done our job 🫡

This group is the most amount of smiles and fun you will see and it has the best people there to help keep that ethos, and when you create that environment the kids thrive to become better and they really have this season 🙌

Can’t wait to see how this group keep evolving

Marlow Royals, this team has shown that when Fun and Competitiveness is done right, the outcome is outstanding 💪🏻 starting the season in the development league and within 4 months competing and smashing it in 2 divisions higher 👏🏻

This club just seems to breed good people and mix that with talented individuals you get success, the coaches the parents and players make this environment exactly what grassroots youth football should look like 🫡

Excited to see how far this group can push themselves next season
