Brigg Town 3-0 Rasen
Our first half performance was as good as we’ve played all season, playing some lovely football . 0-0 at half time gave us hope we could get something out of the game. Unfortunately the league champions overpowered us in the second half and ended up deserved winners.
It has been a difficult second half of the season which has seen us fall from the top of the table around Xmas. We have the summer to regroup and recruit for next season and I want to thank everyone who has assisted in making our season a success in the main. We have played some cracking football at times with some brilliant goals, enjoyed great support home and away. Great backing from sponsors that brought vital income into our great club. Without the support of them, the players, Matt, the two Paul’s, Eve,Jaq, Kate , Shaun , Jake and of course Mr Bunn and many others we would not have got through the season. Market Rasen should have a team at this level of Football and long may it continue.

“Play your cards right”
£2 per entry, if your ticket is drawn then play your cards right. If you win you get what’s in the pot, if you don’t get to the end with higher or lower then it’s a rollover to the next week! Up to 3 tickets drawn per week! Half of the pot to the club, half to the winner 💰

Rasen 0-2 Brigg town devs.
We have to congratulate Brigg on winning the league ..well deserved. But I was really heartened by our performance today. To a man we were back to somewhere near our best and we deserved something out of the game . I felt their keeper had more saves to make than Will in our goal. But that’s football. One more game to close the season away at Brigg. With same attitude and commitment we can push them again.

Wyberton 2-0 Rasen
Really can’t fault the effort from the lads and 2-0 flattered them as we pushed men forward to get the equaliser. Didn’t get the ball down as I know we can. But we have a big game next sat v Champions elect Brigg at Rase Park.. be good to see a few down for our last home game. 3pm kick off.
