Good morning, Lubenham Raiders - it is now under a month until our Annual Church Day Cycle Ride in support of Lubenham Church.
We leave Lubenham Green Gates at 10 am on Saturday 5th September and spend the day in Northamptonshire's finest countryside.

The evening event is for all Raiders and Resting Raiders - we will meet at The Coach & Horses, Lubenham, at 7.30 pm for a Fish & Chip Supper, costing £17.00 per person, payable on the night. I think we will be able to choose between Chunky chips or Fries and Garden or Mushy Peas!!

Good evening Raiders,

Despite the hot summer weather, the Raiders have been out twice a week - sometimes choosing shaded routes.

This post confirms our Church bike ride on Saturday 5th September. We will be riding a new route through Northamptonshire’s countryside. The ride will begin at 10 am at Lubenham Green Gates and conclude in Market Harborough. It will be an all-day ride of approximately 35 miles with various stops including lunch.

The proposed evening celebration will be a Fish and Chip supper at the Coach & Horses in Lubenham. Further details will be provided closer to the date. The evening is open to all current and resting Raiders and I hope we can have a good turnout.

Good morning Raiders, and welcome to 2026.
Although cold, we have been out Raiding on Wednesday afternoons, and what fun it has been - yesterday we stopped at Bridge 61 for an aperitif with a lovely open fire and friendly staff really appreciated. So heads up for the start of our evening rides, suggested Tuesday, April 7th day after Easter. 6.30pm set off as the nights are still closing in. Proposed 27th April, later 7.00pm set off.
Looking forward to another exciting year.

Good morning, Raiders, on this soggy November morning. I am posting here about the Annual Lubenham Christmas Walk, which will take place on Monday 29th of December. An advert accompanies this post with all the relevant details. I do hope you will join us.
Concluding this year's Raiding, we have been busy on Wednesday afternoons finding more isolated routes to avoid the ever-increasing traffic. This has proved to be very successful. Laura Alden had prepared some of these new routes, and they have been most enjoyable.

Our final evening ride took place last night, covering 18 miles with a brief stop at the Red Lion in Sibbertoft. We have had a great year, which continues on Wednesday afternoons.
