We, the organizers of Maurice Cup 2024, are excited to announce that the second edition of this amazing two-day tournament – Maurice Cup 2025 – full of fun, competition, and great energy will take place from February 28 to March 1, 2026! 🏒🔥

📋 Basic information:

Teams will be divided (drawn) into two groups and two divisions.

Maximum number of teams: 12!
So players, get your sticks ready, wash your team jerseys, and get pumped for some real ball hockey action! 💪

A thrilling look back at Maurice 2025 through the eyes of the tournament champions!

The tournament was a great experience for us. We always look forward to play in other countries and testing our skills against international players.

Of course, we’re happy that we managed to win the tournament and even serve as an inspiration for some players. It’s a great feeling to know that others look up to you and see playing against us as a valuable experience.

The tournament was very well organized. We played a lot of games over the two days, and we want to thank the organizers for their hard work in making it happen.

We will definitely be back for the next edition, and we’re already looking forward to new friendships, experiences, and memories!

And here comes another thrilling sports segment! 🏒Though the tournament is now a thing of the past, it’s time to shine a spotlight on a few remaining teams and, most importantly, the players who left their mark on the very first edition of the Maurice 2025 ball hockey tournament with their incredible skills and relentless determination!
Let’s give a special shoutout to the player Alex Simon from a team Tatry Cup, who dominated our mini skill competition in penalty shooting and took home one of the gorgeous snow-white hoodies, generously provided by our sponsor, Bauska! ❄️🏆

In our next sports segment featuring players and teams that participated in the Maurice Tournament 2025, we have a true staple of the Canadian team London Jets – the one and only Travis Taylor!

The London Jets are one of the oldest ball hockey teams in Britain, boasting an impressive legacy of success. Among their many achievements is a hat-trick of victories in the gruelling two-day Fantastic Four Tournament held annually in Newcastle a true test of endurance and skill.

And just like the legendary London Jets, Travis Taylor was born to compete. He has seemingly played in every tournament imaginable and is renowned for his rock-solid defence and lightning-fast footwork, shutting down passes with surgical precision.

We bring you another exciting glimpse into the Maurice Tournament 2025, this time through the eyes of Tamworth Mercians player, Adam Gurney!
Adam became an inseparable part of our tournament, not only through his incredible gameplay but also by contributing to the graphic poster countdown leading up to the big day, adding to the electric atmosphere of the entire event. And with him arrived a team full of enthusiasm! They may have lacked experience, but they more than made up for it with passion, determination, and an unstoppable drive to experience ball hockey at a professional level.

And what a story it turned out to be! Every match was an opportunity for them to gain invaluable experience, dive into the world of competitive ball hockey, and prove that a fighting spirit and team unity are the ultimate keys to success. There may be only one official champion, but to us, every single player who stepped onto that rink and fought until the last second is a true winner!

We are beyond grateful that Adam and his team were part of this unforgettable sporting event. And we can’t wait to see them return to future tournaments, pushing their skills to new heights, embracing new challenges, and dazzling us once again with their dedication!

Becky is a player who adapts to any situation on the rink with lightning speed. Stopping her? Nearly impossible! She’s unbelievably agile, slipping out of battles as if she were made of soap. A battle-tested veteran of the world’s top women’s ball hockey competitions, she never backs down from a challenge!

Playing with her, or against her is always an absolute thrill! She brings boundless energy, an infectious smile, and an unbeatable spirit to every game. You can see and feel her love for the sport, and that passion is nothing short of inspiring!🏆

After an intense and thrilling two-day ball hockey showdown at the inaugural Maurice Tournament 2025, we witnessed a breath-taking finale! Two extraordinary teams battled their way to the top without dropping a single point – the young and fierce Slovak squad, Vranovské Kocúre, and the experienced Czechoslovak veterans of HC Východ Jackals.

The first half was a clash of generations – the veterans fought valiantly, matching the young guns stride for stride with their tactical brilliance. But in the second half, the relentless energy and blistering speed of the young stars took over, shifting the momentum and sealing an unforgettable victory! And so, the first-ever champions of Maurice Tournament 2025 are… Vranovské Kocúre!

A massive congratulations to the winners and every single player who gave it their all! We hope that both the players and the fans enjoyed this incredible tournament, and we can’t wait to see you all again for the next thrilling edition. And now – the grand final anthem, the anthem of future champions! 🎶🏆🔥

"Looking back on my time with the experimental ball hockey team Dinamo Falcons brought a wave of nostalgia, taking me back to my childhood when I first started playing this sport. Although I have won numerous tournaments and awards as the captain of many teams, playing for Dinamo reminded me of the pure joy of the game—without pressure, just with genuine enthusiasm.

Every pass that missed its target, every mistake, was not a failure but a part of the magic of the game. The laughter and excitement of my teammates, who played simply for the love of the sport, created an atmosphere where time seemed to stand still. It was refreshing—a reminder of why I fell in love with this game in the first place. We had an incredible time at the tournament before saying our goodbyes and returning to our original teams, but with a newfound energy and a smile that wouldn’t fade anytime soon."
