Which do you prefer? Varnished or Camo Paint?

The Varnished canoe is a 15' 7' Peterborough and the the Camo canoe is an 11' Little Kate.

Both designs were created by Paul over at Selway Fisher Design, this not only means that they are professionally designed, but it also means that they are tried and tested the world over.

The beauty with building Paul's designs is that you can have a look over all of the different options before you take the plunge. He details all of the expected dimensions along with weight capacity and best use for a specific design.

We also offer a panel cutting service if you would like to build your own canoe, we are always on hand to help with the process if you need any extra pointers!.

Custom Camo Stencils...did you know this is a thing?

As you may have seen in the videos, I try to use the most natural materials possible when creating a camo job but, surprisingly, I don't actually have any snakeskin laying around that I can use....so this is the next best thing!

This camo pattern was designed on the computer and then cut with some old 0.8mm Birch Ply I have laying around, I know, I must be very flush to be using super thin birch ply lol. I figured this won't be the only time I use it and so this gives me a solid option that, once dry, can be reused another time.

What do we think then? I've changed up the colour scheme and added in some more patterns.

Thanks for the info definitely made me think of a few extras I could throw in. Going to get it out on the River and see how it looks before I do anything else. Hit me up if you fancy taking it out one day 🤙🏼
