So the season finale approaches for the boys, and what an unbelievable season it’s been. Semi finalists, almost untouchable in the league and yet another brilliant season from the lads. Notts FA have got a lot of answering to do due to their prehistoric rules and embarrassing decisions. Regardless, we will win the league and the next 2 games we will show exactly why we are the best team in the league. Always knocked but never beaten. MVTID ⚽️🏆🔴🌑

So the U16’s have just 3 games left to complete another brilliant season with the boys looking to finish strongly. 3 wins will see us win the league (despite Hucknall and Winthorpe’s childish behaviour).
Every challenge they’ve faced they have adapted and overcome them all.
The lads have gave everything and have been by far the best team over the season and we couldn’t be any prouder of every single one of the boys. This group has a very bright future ⚽️❤️🖤

So, a little matter of a semi final next week at Keyworth Utd FC. The boys are massive underdogs against the best team in the competition, but we know that we can give them a game. We’d absolutely love all the support we can get, so please come and support our boys. Love you all 👍🏻⚽️🏆

So, the boys wait for the semi final draw after a 2-0 win at unbeaten, higher league Basford. Unbelievable performance today. We keep marching on 👊🏻❤️🏆⚽️

So, quarter final on Saturday against one of, if not the favourite to win the cup.

Couldn’t have got a trickier draw away at undefeated Basford, but our boys are more than capable of winning this game and we’ve every confidence in the lads. Regardless, we are really proud of the team and the progress they’ve made over this season ❤️⚽️🏆

Match day tomorrow for the first time this year. It’s been a long 6 weeks since we last played. Not expecting the boys to be at their free flowing best and hopefully we can keep the streak going 🤞🏻

We’re at home with a 10.30 kick off. Be great to see a few faces cheering the lads on 👍🏻⚽️

So after 5 week break, we are hopefully back at home this Saturday against Willow Wildcats. Had a good training session last night so some of the cobwebs were blown away.

Biggest problem now is that the referee has cancelled 🤦‍♂️ anyone know of a referee that’s available? 10.30 kick off at Elkesley Road.

Be good to get a positive result to keep our season moving in the right direction ⚽️👍🏻

Been a brilliant 2024 for the U16’s. Despite many challenges, the boys have stayed focused on improving and have worked as hard as possible to produce some outstanding results and performances. With a bit of luck, we’ll carry this into 2025 and make it equally as good if not better.
