A huge shoutout to Finley, our Slam Jammer of the Week! 🎉

Finley started the session feeling a little nervous, but he showed fantastic determination and confidence as the session went on. 💪✨ By listening carefully, giving everything a go, and believing in himself, he showed us just how amazing his basketball skills are!

We loved seeing Finley grow in confidence and shine on the court. 🌟

Brilliant first Slam Jam session with our 5–8 year olds! 🏀

All 22 players enjoyed their first club experience, with some nervous faces quickly turning into big smiles.

A huge well done to everyone who took part – it was a fantastic first session! We’d also like to give a special shout-out to our junior players who helped out and supported the younger children throughout the session.

Our incredibly talented player Isla is looking for financial support as she continues her amazing sporting journey.

At just 14 years old, Isla has recently attended the Basketball England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 camp, represents England in Volleyball, and is also part of the Handball talent pathway — an incredible achievement across three sports!

Reaching this level comes with significant costs, and unfortunately these opportunities are self-funded, with expenses running into the thousands of pounds each year.

It’s that time of year again for the annual Joel Smedley Foundation Football Tournament & Funday! ⚽️

Full details can be found in the flyer, and we’ll be there in the family sport zone running sporting activities.

This amazing foundation continues to support the club with kits, player of the game awards, and training gear, making a real difference to grassroots sport.

Joel loved basketball alongside his passion for football, so this is a wonderful way for his memory to live on while continuing to support grassroots clubs in Mansfield. ❤️
