🏀 U16 GIRLS PREMIER – PRESEASON GAME DAY! 🏀

Our U16 Girls Premier team are on the road tomorrow as they head to the Oaklands Wolves Preseason Tournament, with a great opportunity to test themselves against fellow Premier teams ahead of the new NBL season! 💪🔥

⛹️‍♀️ Game 1 – 12:10pm
Mansfield Giants 🆚 Kingston Lions

⛹️‍♀️ Game 2 – 2:50pm
Mansfield Giants 🆚 Sheffield Hatters or Oaklands Wolves

A brilliant way to finish preparations before the competitive season gets underway. Good luck to all the girls – play hard, compete and enjoy the experience! 💗🏀

A big shout-out and thank you to Oaklands Wolves for putting on the preseason tournament and giving the teams some valuable court time before the season begins. 👏

The girls are in action for their first league game next Sunday 20th September at home at Oak Tree LC, 11.20am tip off.

This is a great opportunity for our Giants community to come together, have some fun and help raise vital funds to support the club. You don't have to be a player to swim – parents and family members can get involved too!

🏀 Building the next generation of basketball coaches!

Great to see the Level 1 Coach Award being delivered at our satellite club at Dukeries LC with Active4Today, with Mansfield Giants parents and players also getting involved and taking the next step on their coaching journey.

Even better to have our very own Dan Richards delivering the course, sharing his knowledge and experience and helping to develop the next cohort of basketball coaches. 👏🏀

It’s fantastic to see people already involved with the Giants both in Mansfield and at Dukeries continuing to learn, develop and give back to the game.

🏀💪 SUMMER WORK COMPLETE… NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE SEASON! 💪🏀

A massive WELL DONE to all our Giants players who have put the work in over the summer! 👏🔥

From Strength & Conditioning sessions 💪 to our Giants Summer Hoops Camps 🏀 and regular Giants training sessions — it’s been brilliant to see so many players working hard, developing their game and getting ready for the season ahead!

Every session. Every rep. Every shot.
It all adds up. 📈🏀

Slam Jam returns from next Wednesday, 9th September 2026 for the next 6 weeks!

🏀🇬🇧 GIANTS ON TOUR — GB BASKETBALL! 🇬🇧🏀

What a fantastic club trip to Newcastle to watch GB Men take on Slovakia in a FIBA qualifier! 🔥

For many of our Giants players and families, this was their first-ever international basketball game — and what an experience it was! 🙌

It was brilliant to see make his GB Men’s debut on home soil 🇬🇧🏀 and even more special for one of our own, Riley, who managed to get Amari’s playing vest! 👕🔥 A memory that will certainly last a lifetime!

Watching international basketball up close gave our young players the chance to see what it takes to compete at the highest level — the speed of the game, teamwork, movement and some absolutely on-point passing! 👏

And, of course, it was made even better by a great GB victory! 🇬🇧💪

A huge 56 Giants players, parents, coaches and supporters made the journey north, making it another fantastic club day together.

These trips are about so much more than watching a game. They’re about inspiring our young players, creating memories, spending time together as a club and showing them where basketball can take you. 🏀❤️

Thanks to managing the booking and was seamless process and to for the memory’s and photos, plus the players for spending time after the game creating more memory’s.

Thank you to everyone who travelled and made it such a brilliant day!
