Since our creation in 1982, we have continually grown our membership and status as a National Governing Body throughout Great Britain and the rest of the world. We value the principles that are the foundation of our martial art - etiquette, modesty, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit. Each is a statement of our intent to ensure that we practice our art and sport in a manner that emp

owers the individual to become a better person, whilst respecting others. We believe that our our clubs, coaches, instructors, members and volunteers can only deliver the vision only if they are empowered to do so and on a sporting platform that is safe to do so. This can only be achieved through a proactive partnering approach in a consistent and professional manner, with transparent and cohesive policies that will underpin their own values.
