How is it day 6 of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games already! With all of the home nations performing so well across all of the sports it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch. Bowls and Para Bowls is still our absolute favourite though obviously and now is the perfect time to try our fantastic sport!

If you want to meet new people, fancy spending some time outdoors or maybe you’re looking for a new hobby, we'd love to welcome you to Malden Manor Bowls Club.

Everyone is welcome and no experience is needed. We have members of all ages and abilities, and our friendly club members are always happy to help newcomers get started.

There’s just two days until the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games begin and bowls fever takes over the nation. There's never been a better time to try our fantastic sport!

Friendly by nature... competitive by choice!

We're proud to be known as a welcoming club where everyone can enjoy the game. But once the first bowl is delivered, Malden Manor Bowls Club’s competitive spirit shines through!

Every season, our players compete at local, county and national level, regularly taking on some of the biggest clubs around. Time and again, we prove that determination, teamwork and belief can take you a long way—and we're proud to say we often punch above our weight.

This weekend, one of our youngest bowlers, Ollie, continues his incredible season as he represents the club in the Surrey County 24 & Under Singles Semi-Final.

His season so far with some outstanding victories over highly experienced opponents has shown that talent, hard work and composure can achieve great things. We couldn't more proud to have him wearing our club colours. 💜💛❤️

What a sporting evening at Malden Manor yesterday!

From the drama of to cheering on the Three Lions it was a fantastic night for sport—and the action didn't stop there!

It was brilliant to see so many members enjoying a beautiful summer evening as we took to the green in the S&D Yonwin Cup against . While the result didn't quite go our way, our players gave it everything from the first bowl to the last. Congratulations to Epsom, and we wish you the very best in the next round. 👏💚

There was plenty to celebrate though, as Christina and Les delivered a fantastic win against Lime Grove in the K&D Mixed Pairs! Much like , they stayed composed under pressure, dug deep when it mattered, and came away with a well-earned victory. Congratulations on a superb performance! 🎉

Whether it's Centre Court, the football pitch, or the bowling green, sport has a wonderful way of bringing people together. Great company, friendly competition, and an evening spent outdoors with friends... that's what club life is all about.

Here's to more sunny evenings, more memorable matches, and plenty more moments to celebrate together!

🍽️ Three cheers for our amazing catering team! 🍽️

This Volunteers' Week, we're raising our knives and forks to the wonderful volunteers who keep our bowlers fed, fuelled, and smiling.

When there's a special match to celebrate, you can always count on our catering team to deliver something delicious. They help turn a great day on the green into a memorable one. 😋

Their hard work, generosity, and dedication are a huge part of what makes our club such a welcoming place. After all, bowls may bring us together, but good food keeps us coming back for seconds!

A massive thank you to Lynda, Christine, Sue and the entire catering team. You're absolute stars, and we're incredibly grateful for everything you do.

🙌 A huge congratulations to our Ladies Captain Karen, who won her County Badge last season and has now taken another incredible step by representing Bowls Surrey for the very first time! 🙌

We’re so proud to see a Malden Manor Bowls Club member competing at that level and showing just how far bowls can take you with hard work and determination and belief.

On National Senior Health & Fitness Day, Karen’s journey is the perfect reminder that it’s never too late to try something new and it’ possible to achieve amazing things.

Karen is not only a fantastic player, but also a brilliant leader for our club. She inspires all of us to push ourselves, back each other and aim even higher this season.
