⚽ WYTHENSHAWE FUTSAL CLUB IS BACK! 🟣⚫

After taking a break over the summer, we’re getting ready to get back on court and we can’t wait! 🙌

We’re really looking forward to welcoming back all of our familiar faces, as well as hopefully seeing plenty of new players coming along and giving futsal a go.

We’ve loved seeing the club grow since we started and we’re excited to keep building throughout the autumn and winter. More players, more development and most importantly, plenty of futsal! ⚽

📅 We’ll be confirming our restart date very shortly, so keep an eye on the page and our groups for an update.

🟣 WE’RE LOOKING FOR OUR FIRST CLUB SPONSOR

As a new grassroots club, we’re also still looking for a local business or individual who would like to become Wythenshawe Futsal Club’s first official sponsor.

Sponsorship would go directly towards helping the club grow, including sports hall hire, new equipment and general running costs, helping us keep providing opportunities for local children.

In return, we’d love to promote and represent a local business that wants to be part of what we’re building.

As always, another brilliant day of sessions at Wythenshawe Futsal club yesterday.

It’s an absolute pleasure to turn up each week and run these groups. We are 6 months in now and the progression we see across all the groups is unbelievable.

Massive thank you to everyone that has turned up and helped support the club. It has enabled us to continue putting the sessions on and to keep growing as a club.

⚽ THE DIFFERENCE FUTSAL IS MAKING ⚽

One of the biggest things we’re hearing lately isn’t just from us as coaches… it’s from parents and grassroots coaches every single weekend.

🗣️ “You can really see the difference in their game now.”
🗣️ “They’re so much more confident on the ball.”
🗣️ “Decision making is quicker, they don’t panic anymore.”
🗣️ “First touch and close control has improved massively.”

We’re constantly being told how players attending the futsal sessions are standing out in their Saturday & Sunday matches – and that’s exactly what it’s all about.

Futsal puts players in situations where they have:
• Less time on the ball
• Tighter spaces
• More pressure

Which means they adapt quicker, think quicker, and play with more confidence when they go back to their normal games.

Sessions were back on today and the standards were as high as ever 😮‍💨

Across all three age groups, the energy, effort and attitude were absolutely spot on. Smiles all round, plenty of hard work, and most importantly—real progress being made week on week. It’s fantastic to see how much everyone is improving and pushing themselves every session.

Couldn’t be prouder of the commitment and the positive environment being built. Long may it continue

There will be NO sessions this Sunday due to the Easter weekend. 🐣

Sessions will resume as normal next week, and bookings are now open. We look forward to seeing everyone back and welcoming new faces

Our U9–U10 group put on a fantastic in-house tournament, and the level on display was absolutely brilliant! 👏 From quick passing to confident finishing, the improvement these players are making week in, week out is incredible to see.

The energy, teamwork, and smiles all round showed exactly what our sessions are about — developing skills, building confidence, and enjoying the game in a positive environment 🙌
