Due to the weather and the wet outfield at Stayley, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to cancel tomorrow's Family Fun Day.

Refunds for any tickets purchased will be processed in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

There was no play at all yesterday for the 1st and 2nd XI due to the weather.

Today's 4th XI friendly v Hawk Green at Oxford St has already been abandoned due to a wet pitch but there is still prospect of play for our 3rd XI who travel to Mottram.

The club is still open from 12 and all live sport will be shown.

We have 3 games remaining in the 2026 GMCL season and we hope the weather can hold out today.

The 1st XI travel to Glossop and the 2nd XI host Denton.

Unfortunately, following a pitch inspection, we have been beaten by the weather and there will be no junior training tonight.

The club will still be open from 6pm and we are showing the Crystal Palace v Man City match in the club as well as pool and darts available to be played.

RICK PARKER MEMORIAL GOLF DAY
⛳ Join us for the inaugural Rick Parker Memorial Golf Day!
On Saturday 3rd October, Stayley will be heading to Castle Hawk Golf Club for a fantastic day of golf, fundraising and fun — all in memory of Rick Parker and raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We’re looking for 18 teams of 4 to battle it out on the course and compete to become the first-ever winners of the Rick Parker Memorial Cup! 🏆
Places are just £30 per person, which includes a breakfast butty and a brew to get you fuelled up before hitting the course.
🏌️ SPONSOR A HOLE
We’re also giving businesses and individuals the opportunity to sponsor one of the 18 holes for just £50.
Every penny raised from the hole sponsorships will go directly to Pancreatic Cancer UK, helping support an incredibly important cause.
🎶 THE FUN DOESN’T STOP THERE!
Once the golf is finished, we’ll be heading back to Stayley Cricket Club, where the evening will continue with:
🎵 Live music
🎟️ Raffles
🔨 An auction
🍻 Plenty of fun and good company
So, even if golf isn’t your cup of tea, you can still come along in the evening and support this fantastic cause!
