Students travel to the school from across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire to receive their specialist training. The school's training ensures that each student receives professional, techn

Every student, whether attending classes as a hobby or for pre-professional training, is encouraged to achieve their personal best with the drive to succeed.

Our current student Etta, and past pupils Lorelle, Eliana and Emily (who now train full time at the Hammond, Royal Ballet School and Tring Park School), were involved in a large location photoshoot for Dancewear Central during the half term holidays. It was lovely for all four of our students to meet and work together on this photoshoot.

And as always, we are so proud of our students when working in a professional setting such as this – representing our school, past and present, so beautifully!

Rotary International is the largest humanitarian organisation in the world, and we are thrilled to announce that we are now a Corporate Member of Rotary Rural Connections!

Rotary Rural Connections is a new Rotary club, dedicated specifically for reducing isolation in rural Northumberland, focusing on adults and young people living in the county’s more remote communities. Rural Connections links doctors, dentists, schools and local businesses to ensure that those living rurally don't fall through the gaps.

Our dance school's ethos strongly aligns with the aims of Rural Connections – removing geographical limitations with our weekly live Zoom online classes, promoting physical and mental wellbeing through dance, and our online social events and community.

The Rotary club aims to target all age groups, which our online dance school caters for children (7+, beginners to advanced), adults (18+, beginner to those with previous experience), Royal Academy of Dance Silver Swans and Seated Swans (55+, beginners to those with previous experience)

We are excited to support the work of Rotary Rural Connections across the region.

We are thrilled to announce that Johanna has been shortlisted by the Royal Academy of Dance for their Wellbeing & Inclusion Champion award! Even more wonderful, is that this is Johanna's third consecutive year of being selected by the Royal Academy of Dance for a teacher award!

The annual RAD Awards recognise individuals who have made a lasting impact on the dance world. They honour the depth of the work taking place across diverse communities and celebrate significant, sustained contributions to dance education. Every year, a panel of judges reviews nominations from around the world, and selects the recipients of these highly respected awards.

Johanna is a relentless advocate for inclusion and wellbeing in dance across her global work with children, adults, Silver Swans, Seated Swans and Dance for Parkinson's. The Wellbeing & Inclusion Champion award celebrates teachers prioritising learner wellbeing, accessibility, and inclusive practice.

These fourteen skaters train weekly with us across weekly online ballet, stretch & conditoning and 1-1 program artistry.

Honey has been training in our programme for just six months. Only having minimal ballet experience when she joined, the progress she has made these last six months in our weekly live online ballet and conditioning classes has been amazing to see. Such huge improvements in her posture, extension, and understanding of line 👏

🌟 HE'S DONE IT!! 🌟

Huge congratulations to Alex who has successfully auditioned and been offered a place at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on their BA in Musical Theatre course!

Often renowned as one of the best places to train in Musical Theatre (and ranked in the Top 10 in Europe), places are fiercely competitive, with only approximately 18 students accepted every year out of hundreds of applicants.

Alex started training online with us at age 12 with his goal of wanting to improve his dancing for his Musical Theatre. We couldn't be prouder of him when just over five years later, he's offered places at RCS, LIPA and Mountview.
