Swimtime East Anglia 🏊‍♂️ Nurturing water confidence + safety 🐡 Expert instruction tailored to all ages We love swimming and we love to teach children (and adults!) to swim.

We provide swimming lessons for swimmers aged 4+ years in Bury St Edmunds and Kings Lynn. It’s so rewarding for them to achieve this important life skill, but more than anything, at Swimtime, they have great fun while they are learning. We offer two types of lessons depending on your objectives and budget:
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group Lessons - typically 6 students
🧍 Private Lessons - 1:1 and 2:1

Paloma Pufferfish guides Swimtime swimmers through a 3 stage programme, further developing skills in this improver course. Swimming lessons are conducted in small groups by our fab swimming instructors, Lyn and Adam, enabling optimum swimming and rest periods for our beginner swimmers. There is a reason so many adults say they wish they had learned to swim sooner.

Swimming does something for your mental health that is hard to replicate elsewhere. The rhythm of it, the focus it takes, the way everything else quiets down when you are in the water.

The hard part is getting started. Nerves and lack of confidence stop a lot of adults before they even try. Swimming lessons are there to change that, building the skill and the confidence at a pace that works for you.

This year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme is action. It is a pretty good week to take the first step.

Swimming is one of those rare things that gives back at every stage of life.

It is great for your body, but it is also genuinely good for your mind.

Starting early means children build a love of the water that stays with them as they grow, something they can always come back to.
