When we started this project it was always going to be important that we give a nod to those people who have helped inline hockey in some form or another. The first two jerseys to go up are : All round top guy, inspiration to me and he's a Flowmingo OG 🦩 , the
king 👑 Dennis Karlsson, one of the best netminders to ever play the game... Alongside him, Malcom Tilley, who is sadly no longer with us, he was a man who gave so much of his life to keeping the sport going for the younger generations. Without his passion we probably would not still have such a strong hockey footprint in the Northwest

One thing I can't get my head around when I'm coaching is how little belief some players (kids and adults) have in themselves. Not just in their hockey skill or ability to play the game, but a lack of confidence and belief in themselves as people. A lot of that will be shaped around experiences with other people and it's part of growing up but it doesn't make it any easier to see. I'm 43, over weight, past my prime, you name it lol I don't post stuff like this to be about me. The kids I coach and people who know me know I'm not about that. The purpose of this (and other recent posts) is that hopefully they can look at this and think well if the old guy can do it I believe I can. If that works for at least one of them then it's served a purpose ... Believe in yourself

🏒🎃 LIONS JNR HEADING TO IRELAND! 🍀👻 🎃🏒

Lions Jnr are looking to enter the Bangor Chiefs "Stick or Treat" Inline Hockey Tournament in Bangor, Northern Ireland this Halloween, and we're looking for a few more Under 12s and Under 14s players to join our squad!

📍 Eddie Irvine Sports Centre, Bangor, Northern Ireland

This promises to be a fantastic weekend of inline hockey, with teams travelling from across the UK and Ireland for a fun-filled Halloween tournament. Whether you're an existing Lion Cub looking for more game time or a player looking to experience tournament hockey with a friendly and welcoming club, we'd love to hear from you.
