We often know the name of Robert Bruce when the line comes "failure is the pillar of success". But there is another well-known person who proved it again. You can call him the Robert Bruce of football.🗣️

His name is Lionel Messi. He was born in Rosario,Argentina. He played for Football Club Barcelona (FCB). He won every possible things with Barcelona. But with Argentina, he he couldn't win any team trophy, he just won his individual best awards which means the best player of a tournament. 🥹

Argentina was trophyless Since 1993. He played 4 finals with Argentina including a world cup final. But he couldn’t win those finals. That's why his greatness became valueless in front of some people. His critics and some of his fans also started calling him a club legend. Even Argentine people also started mocking him at that time! 🥹

In 2016 Copa America final, (his 4th final) after missing a penalty he got frustrated. He couldn't overcome the frustration of his missing penalty and losing 4 finals with Argentina (3 in a row). That's why he gave up and retired from Argentina national team.💔

Everyone again started trolling him, started calling him a coward. But he came back again in his national team because of the request of AFA (Argentina football Association) board, then he scored hattrick & secured Argentina's 2018 World Cup qualification! 👏

In 2021 he fought again to win Copa America with Argentina. And this time, he won that. He got his 1st international trophy. Argentina won a major international trophy after 28 years and he became the best player of the tournament again. He was also the top scorer and the top assist provider of that tournament! 🔥🔥

Then he won the dream World Cup, Finalissima against EURO winner & another Copa America in 2024! That means 4 international trophies in a row for him! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

What if Messi didn't come back again in his national team? He couldn't fight for the trophy again and didn't win that trophy at last.

So, Moral of the story is “Be like Robert Bruce/Messi. You might fail a lot of time to reach your goal. But comeback and fight. Surely you will be successful one day.” ❤️
