What a fantastic Finals Day for the ladies at Thirsk! 💕⚽
Overall, it was an enjoyable day for everyone. There was some great football on display and a few unfortunate results, but none of that has changed our outlook. We all came away smiling, proud, and pleased with how we played.
Playing against the likes of York RI, Honeyball and Boroughbridge was a brilliant experience, and a huge well done to all the teams involved. 👏
A massive thank you to all of our supporters who came along to cheer on the ladies. Your support throughout the season has meant so much to us. It’s certainly been a season to remember!
A special mention to one of our newest supporters today. We were delighted to have baby Max join us, proudly sporting his very own old Malton kit 💙🫶🏻. I’m not sure he watched a lot of the football, but his presence was definitely noticed!
A huge thank you to Lorna, Will and Maisie for always being there for us ladies. Your continued support, encouragement and commitment never go unnoticed. We always appreciate everything you do for us and are truly grateful to have you cheering us on every step of the way. 💕🙏

Helen, thank you for your time, dedication and for taking on the FC team. This time last year we were discussing the possibility of splitting into two teams and wondering how we could make it work. Fast forward to today, and not only do we have two thriving teams, but it also highlights how far we’ve come and how much women’s football continues to grow.
It’s not just about football, though. We laugh together, support each other, encourage one another on and off the pitch, and have become one big family. It’s been incredible to watch this group grow and flourish into something truly special. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported us this season. It’s been an absolute blast.
We’re now taking a short, well-deserved break, but we’ll be back soon and excited to see what next season brings! 🙌💕🫶🏻

⭐ Jessica – after being away for a period of time, she came back fighting, scored a goal and deservedly picked up Lass of the Grass. An outstanding performance. Well done, Jessica!
⭐ Craggsy – she’s worked tirelessly, never given up and has been waiting for THAT goal. Today she got it! Her grit, determination and hard work paid off with a brilliant finish. Thoroughly deserved. Clock it! ⏰⚽
