What if one of the best ways to feel better didn’t come in a bottle, an app or an expensive treatment?
What if it was simply moving your body? đź’śđź’š
A major new study published in Nature Human Behaviour analysed almost one million hours of physical activity and more than 320,000 wellbeing ratings from over 8,000 people.
The findings were exciting:
✨ Moving more was linked with feeling better afterwards
✨ Feeling better made people more likely to move again
✨ The strongest link wasn’t just happiness — it was energy
In other words, movement and wellbeing can create a positive cycle.
At Move it or Lose it, we see this every week. People may join because they know they “should” exercise, but they stay for the laughter, friendships, confidence and feel-good energy they gain along the way.
Our latest Turn Back the Clock: The Age-Defying Edit blog explores why moving more can help you feel better — and why feeling better can help you keep moving.
