Fantastic performance from Malpas Cricket Club 2nd XI! 🏏

The boys travelled to Irby and came away with a very convincing victory. A great result and a brilliant team effort — well done, lads! 👏

Meanwhile, in one of the strangest circumstances imaginable, Malpas Cricket Club 1st XI’s home fixture against Prestbury Cricket Club was abandoned due to a flooded pitch.

And this wasn’t exactly a case of the heavens opening! 🌧️ but more because of United Utilities infrastructure. During the early hours of Saturday morning, a water main had sprung a leak, flooding the pitch and unfortunately making the ground unplayable.

After a great result on the road last week with a few missing, the lads will be looking to carry on form with a full strength Xi.
4 weeks left and still promotion on the cards, every week is a cup final for the boys!

Well here it is, the XI to take on Old Parkonians in the semi final of the T20 plate this evening!

A strong side will be looking to carry on the form of beating teams in the league above and show where we want to be next year!

Not very often Malpas are in any sort of semi final so come on down enjoy a beer and see what should be a good game!
