Tomorrow we are bow making 🏹. We have 3 students for the Introduction course that will see them hand craft an ash longbow in a day focusing heavily on the tillering process aiming for a full compass English longbow. It’s an intensive course not only designed to give them a bow to be proud of, but to also set them up for their bow making journey as well.

If you could go back in time to any moment of history where would you go?

It’s the Chalke History Festival at the end of this month where we will be travelling back in time to teach archery workshops, history and offer medieval themed activities through the whole week! You can expect anything from Stone Age through to semi-modern with talks from historians, interactive displays, reenactors, craftspeople and so much more.
