The hill I will die on.
The decisions made in politics directly affect the health outcomes of ordinary people.
Health and politics go hand in hand.
I am sick to the eye balls of hearing that people like RFK have "good intentions".
These "good intentions" are going to lead to poor health outcomes and avoidable deaths, so forgive me if Idgaf or have sympathy for people who enable the grift.
And to be frank...there are people who don't know they're causing harm...
..but f**k me when those people are making decisions on health policies for a nation, it's not that.
They know.
They're getting richer and making their friends richer from the bu****it they're selling.
The man in question is American, so why does it matter?
Because the misinformation spreads fast and the research that they're defunding and cutting impacts us all.
Good intentions is unfortunately not a reason to push back on something that is fundamentally hurting people.
What about those people? People who are susceptible who will be harmed.
Do they deserve to be harmed because the person who caused it had good intentions and we didn't want to hurt their feelings?
Not sure what the answer is to the problem, but I certainly won't be quiet about bu****it when I see it, that's for sure 🤣
