📰 Garry Doolan, BASC's executive director of communications, spoke to The Telegraph as Labour raises concerns over how much land in Britain is used for shooting.

He highlighted that shooting supports habitat management on almost 20 million acres, with unpaid conservation work equivalent to 14 million workdays a year, from pond digging to fox control and hedge management.

Defra's review of game shooting in England is underway, and the deadline to submit your evidence is 1 November.

We had a great weekend at The Big Fish n Show! Met loads of great people, introduced hundreds of people to clay pigeon shooting which was what it was all about for us!
We’re already planning for next year and we can’t wait! More stands and more competitions!
Good to have Original Jonny boy and Big Duffs Fishing come and support us and have a go although we think you boys should probably keep getting your teeth into some carp and leave the shooting to us 😉

We are looking for someone to help with the catering on shoot days, mainly Saturdays with some Wednesdays from the end of September until the end of January.
Cooking for approximately 10 guests each shoot day.

Bar Hill Sporting are going fishing! We will be at this years Big Fishnshow!
There will be a “have a go” clay pigeon stand for all to have a go at testing there shooting skills and also a competition stand where there are som great prizes to be won!
This years show is Jam packed full of activities, live music acts and even celebrity anglers! All at Baden Hall fisheries, just outside of Eccleshall!

Yesterday Joe and I were very proud to hand over the money we’ve raised this year for the Dougie Mac Macmillan Cancer Support a whopping £3,700! This brings our total in the last two years to over £7,200! A massive thankyou to all our clients and friends it’s your generosity that has helped us acheive this fantastic amount. In Memory of Jimmy Hampton who we sadly lost last week. A great man who will be missed by all that knew him ❤️
