Good afternoon! Update for you all: our next outing for the golf will be at Chapel en Le Frith on the 22nd August.

If you are interested in the golf day please email [email protected] to register your interest and to confirm payment for your green fees.

The cost of the Round is £36 including a bacon roll and a coffee. Buggies are £28.

Remember if you have been playing as a guest at any of the previous windmill golf society events and now wish to continue playing as a member of the club there is a £25 annual sub. (This is used for future event prizes)

Well we are only one day away from our 3rd Society Day of the year! This time it sees us play our first round at Mottram Hall!

Word of warning for the weather tomorrow: looking like light showers and chances of sunny spells!

Our Tee times are from 12:50 but we will be meeting at 12 for bacon sarnies and hot drinks before hitting the course.

Now we know England are playing tonight in a semi final yet again! But sore heads will not be an excuse should you obtain the wooden spoon!

Looks like some of the lads had a lovely couple of days out at Carden Park.

The inaugural golf trip was a success. We will be looking at possible future venues for the next one.

Don’t forget we start our Windmill Golf Society Days at Cavendish on the 30th May.

Get yourself to the driving range and perfect that swing to avoid the wooden spoon! See you all soon!

Well, it's been a while, but the rain is nearly over and Golf Season is upon us.... SO WE'RE BACK!

We open this years Windmill Golf Society at a TOP 100 Golf course at the fabulous Cavendish in Buxton. We Tee off at 11:15am so ask for you all to arrive at 10:15am for drinks, breakfast and to allocate the groups.

Remember we have lots of members now and the Yearly Membership is £25. This ensures we can continue to offer prizes and wooden spoons for all our winners and losers!!!

A slight change from trying to hit fairways today! This time it was clays!

Beware the landlord, he now can shoot a gun!

Thank you to Cloudside Shooting & Sporting Club for a great day out! As always back to The Windmill, Whiteley Green for some lovely beer and grub!

We are booked to t-off at 1.30pm - which will have us back to the Windmill for around 6pm

Well gents, tomorrow is the day for The Windmill Golf Society. Looking at the weather forecast we are in for another glorious day.

Remember we are meeting at Disley for 1PM for tea, coffee, bacon sandwiches and to exchange Polo Tops. If you find yourself up at the windmill from 5:30pm tonight you can collect it there!

To all previous winners please remember to bring along your Trophies! We are aiming to be back at The Windmill, Whiteley Green for 6:30pm for prizes and drinks!
