Congratulations to our ladies league team headed by Jackie Seymour. Last night they played their last league match for the season against Thorn Grove A - the division winners - and WON!! Our second place finish should mean that we will be promoted to Division 2 next year. Onwards and upwards ladies!

Just found out that Cheadle Sports can’t field a team for tomorrow’s C team match so the green will be available to anyone who wants to play until 1:30pm.

CAN YOU HELP SUPPORT US?
Our B Team in the Alderley Mixed League has reached the semifinal of their Knockout competition and are drawn against Wilmslow Conservatives. Captain Paul Messam and the team would really appreciate the support of as many of you who can get to the match. The game is to be held at Poynton WMC on September 17th and starts at 2pm. Due to the handicap system that’s used for these competitions Prestbury have an advantage of 26 points so although Wilmslow Cons are doing well in the division above, Prestbury have a fighting chance of reaching the final and your support could well help them over the line. Get There if You Can!

HEADS UP EVERYONE!
Tomorrow morning 🌅, Tuesday 1st September, we will have maintenance work on the Green done. Deep scarification process.

The work will run from 7:30am to 12 noon.
The green will be open and OK to bowl immediately from 12 noon onwards.

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday for our Brian Jagger Challenge Cup. Out of our 38 players, the final turned out to be an all-women’s battle. After a very close match, Marion Grant & Anne Hampton came out on top, with Lynda Brant & Debbie Bradley as runners-up. Pam Jagger presented the Cup alongside our Chairman, Alan Heaton.
