Green reserved on Saturday

This coming Saturday morning, from 11am to 1pm, the green is reserved for the “Wheelies”, a group of wheelchair users, who come to us twice a year for a bit of bowling.

Another request for Volunteers.

You may have already seen our website message about volunteers needed for Meeting & Greeting members at our rollups, and for help with Clubhouse Maintenance. See our website:

Barb Richardson is looking for about 4 members to help with cleaning up the Boules area - just general weeding and tidying up. This is a one-off task - probably taking no more than 3 hours, possibly less. If you are willing to help, please email:

Barb will then make contact with you all to find a suitable day to get the work done. It would be great to have the area cleared before our President’s Cup on 4th July.

Our Derek Gower Pairs competition was held on Sunday 7th June 2026 with 30 members participating. We nearly got away without rain until the last hour or so. Many congratulations to our winners David Freeth & Sue Walton and runners-up Peter Walsh and Julia Turner.

Our Green will be closed this Saturday morning from 8am to approximately 11am for necessary aeration. The Green will be available for play directly afterwards.

Congratulations to our Vets A team who remain on top of their division and are the only team in the 3 Divisions of the Macc Vets league to have not lost a game this season!

This coming Wednesday, 27th May, the Green will now be available to members until 1 pm. Our usual MS group will not be using the Green in the morning.
