Our u8s had a cup game at home against caythorpe today and what a great game it was…

Mablethorpe U8 team travelled to wainfleet today for their first game of the cup group stages the first three quarters wainfleet were a very strong and composed team scoring 2 goals. But mablethorpes spirit and hard work didn't drop as in the 4th quarter Lucas assisted Leon from a goal kick with Leon flicking the ball over a player's head and chipping the keeper then from the amount of pressure from the mablethorpe team Albi dribbled past two players and slotted it in the bottom corner. A hard game but well fought and well done to the boys for not giving up on to the next one!!

U8s match got cancelled today so woodhall spa came over for a friendly. What a brilliant game with end to end action. All the boys got stuck in and never stopped and considering the opposition are a league above the boys did really well.

The boys went to ruskington for there match today..
Everyone battled hard but the hosts out played us, today wasn’t our day but we move onto the next one, the boys didn’t let there heads drop and powered on, well done to leo for player of the match you didn’t give up today and just kept running

U8s absolutely smashed there game today at home to market rasen.

Comments from the coach….

All I can say is it was nice to see the boys fight for a game with a bit of aggression and still keep their heads and score goals shows good mentality and I'd like to give a the boys a shoutout especially to Evan who has been absolutely brilliant in midfield over the past few weeks and Leo banging in goals left right and center with 10 goals in 2 games, Declan managing to play every position we put him in and still getting the job done, Archie the Duracell bunny in midfield 🤣 and Isaac had a tough game today but still kept his head in defence, Leon being a nuisance to other teams like he's good at and Lucas was unlucky to concede. 💙💛

Great games from the boys today everything we ask you boys delivered! Really pleased with everyone’s performance well done on to the next!!
Absolutely brilliant the teamwork is getting better and better each week and the results show it, it's nice to see the boys working as a team rather than individuals and them just having fun on the pitch and just onwards and upwards to the next game I think we have a good little unit.
