BBC Radio Sheffield with Paulette, talking about the Transplant Games and the stories that make it so special. 🎙️

Even bumped into our Non-Exec Mahmoud, sharing his own story. ❤️

Different journeys. One shared purpose.

Grateful to have been part of it. 🫶🏽

Some people call this a challenge… in hindsight, I’d call it a questionable decision. 😂

Because next week, I’m cycling 240KM from the Netherlands to Sheffield for Transplant Active | The British Transplant Games. 🚴

As:
• A complete cycling novice.
• Someone with almost zero bike experience.
• The owner of a very sore bum. 🍑😂

Huge thank you to Sian Hall for lending me your bike. Although I won’t lie… I really wish it was a motorbike. 🤣🏍️

But this ride is about something much bigger than me.

Many people assume that once someone receives a transplant, life simply goes back to normal. The reality is often very different. A transplant can mean a lifetime of medication, ongoing hospital appointments, and daily challenges that most of us never see.

That’s why I’m taking on this rather ridiculous 240KM ride, to support people living with transplants and raise awareness of the journey that continues long after surgery.

If you’re able to support the cause, I’d be incredibly grateful for a donation. Every pound makes a difference. ❤️

Wish me luck… I think I’m going to need it! 🚴😂

Grateful to be a part of project, celebrating 🥳 women who are authentically themselves in natural light. No filters, 100% organic 😂.

I’m sure we all know some incredible women who’d be perfect to join this fantastic project! ❤️
