Lenny “Lionel” Lywood scores 7 goals in 5 games for Loxwood at Henfield FC summer tournament.

U7A giant killers, Loxwood & Kirdford “Comets” thumped teams from Brighton and Southwater, winning four out of five games in their first ever tournament. Event organisers described the team as “the future of Loxwood football club” at the on stage medal presentation.

Lenny has developed a habit of leaving his medals on the ground at events. When questioned on this Lenny said “I don’t want medals, I want trophies”.

Lenny and our Comets are back in action today at the Roffey tournament!

Our Leopards superstar goalkeeper, Lyla, had her trial/assessment day for the England Football Girls Talent Pathway earlier this week!The youngest of 4 goalkeepers / over 150 kids. 🧤

A few early nerves were soon shaken off once she was on the pitch getting involved in the exercises. ⚽️

Well done to Lyla for giving it everything 💪
