Our super Louth team were back in training today, every single one them absolutely smashed it per usual. Today we played fun games to get them back into it, a warm up of bull dog, followed into a dribbling game/race of dribbling a ball towards a cone, stopping the ball and taking the cone back to their side, whoever had the most cones won, but they both got 29 each 🤪 we then played get out of jail, taking a shot if they scored they went to the back of the line but if they missed they went in jail, to free them someone left in the line had to score, and there shooting was brilliant scoring loads. We then went into a game and they showed their excellent skills off during this.

Trainer of the week, we let the kids vote who they thought did best and they voted for Albie, he worked hard, never stops running, always showing great skills in training, and his behaviour is fantastic.

Well done to the team today for a great game in the sun against Fishtoft.

With only having 5 players, the boys had to battle hard throughout the game and same for Fishtoft with only 6 they all had to give it their all.

We struggled in the heat in the first 10 mins, credit to Fishtoft they took their chances well and took a deserved lead after the first 10 mins.

After that Louth managed to take control well and their passing and finishing was great to see, everyone was fantastic to watch.

Well done to both teams who did amazing in the heat to keep going and battling throughout the game.

Well done to the group today, with the last game of the season this Sunday, we decided to let the kids choose what warm up and drills they wanted to do.

Each and every one of them was fantastic and it’s clear to see how much they’ve all improved since the start and how confident they was on the ball and how they moved it around. Really proud of all of them they have been fantastic all season.

Trainer of the week went to both Leo and Benji, who were both fantastic, listened well, played with such confidence, great technique and skill throughout, just like every child tonight they smashed it.

Today we made our way over to Burgh town, on an extremely windy day.

Burgh came out the blocks really quick playing nice football and creating opportunities, but Louth did well to keep limiting the hosts effort on goal.

After falling a goal down to the hosts, the team picked themselves up really well and started to show their talents off. We played some great football, worked hard, defended well and was some excellent saves made, as well as some smart finishes.

Player of match went to Reggie, changed the game when he played outfield, pressuring the defence to win the ball back. He also was amazing in goal.

Parents player of the match went to Charlie, per usual Charlie’s work rate was unbelievable, defended really well all game, got himself in great positions and was composed on the ball.

Massive well done to all that attended today!

Today we started off with a game of spider man tig as the warm up, we then introduced the footballs into it, and if the person with the bib managed to get someone they took the ball, and the other person then had the bib. We then focused on 1v1s and 2v2s trying to take players on and finishing and on the other side trying to pass and shoot. Lastly we dribbled through the cones, played the ball out wide and got our shot off.

Everyone was excellent today really impressed the coach.

Today’s trainer of the week was Charlie, came to the session focused and had his best ever training session, working hard and showing his skills in football.

Today we hosted Horncastle town, in the last cup game of the season. Yet again another talented young side.

Tough afternoon for the boys, we played extremely well, creating some good opportunities and working hard as a team. Was great to see that we never gave up and tried our hardest throughout the game.

Massive credit to Jack and his Horncastle side they played some great football right from the start, and made it an enjoyable game.

Player of the match went to Reggie, made some intelligent runs and scored a great goal.

Parents player of the match was a joint one this week between Albie and Leo, both of them was fantastic putting in max effort, and looking to help the team, and Leo scored a great goal again.

Today we had our second game in the cup away to Spilsby.

Spilsby a very talented side, started of extremely well showing great passing and some brilliant solo moments too. Louth took a bit to get into the game but did some good stuff themselves. And had a couple of nice finishes through macsen.

Player of the match went to Charlie, his non stop running, winning the ball back, and causing problems, was really impressive.

Players player of the match went to Leo, played really well both outfield and in goal.

Yesterday we had 10 super players attend training!

We changed our usual training sessions full of drills to a longer warm up, then straight into a game for the session, within the game, we looked at positions in different scenarios, how to set up when we’ve got a goal kick, kick off, etc.

The Louth team all did brilliant in this and really impressed the coaches, and made it an enjoyable Friday night session.

Trainer of the week went to our newest member, Poppie, she was a little bit shy when she first came over, but then grew into the session really well, winning the warm up game, and scoring a couple of the goals, the coaches was really proud of her.

Today the boys took on a very talented Sleaford side in the cup!

After the brilliant game yesterday, the boys was raring to go. Sleaford started of extremely well, creating chance after chance and playing some really attractive football. Louth slowly came back into it showing the talent they have amongst the team with some good play, some good solo runs, and some nice finishes.

It turned into a very end to end game, for quite a while, but Sleaford showed there skills off well and why they’re a top, team, but the boys never gave up and kept going for it, and scored a unreal goal from Albie, following a rebound from a free kick.

The boys should all be proud of themselves the amount they’ve improved is unbelievable from the start of the season to now. The coaches are really happy and proud with how the team are doing.

Player of the match went to Albie, he never stopped always running, always trying to get his tackles in and driving the team forward. Scored two really well taken goals too.

Player of the match Leo Hr, played extremely well in the middle, a great solo run, to finish the ball tidily, and on another day could of had more, also stepped up and wanted to go in the goal, and he produced a good performance and great saves.
