🌳 Looking for a fun, free activity this school holiday?

Join us at our Play in the Park sessions – completely FREE with no booking required! 📆Sessions will be running from 20 July to 28 August 2026.

Designed to keep children active, engaged, and entertained throughout the holidays, these sessions are a fantastic opportunity for local families to get outdoors, make new friends, and enjoy quality time together.

Parents, carers, grandparents, and little ones are all welcome – children must be accompanied by an adult.

There’s something for everyone, including:
🎾 Outdoor activities
🏀Sports equipment
🎨 Colouring and arts & crafts

Many sessions also feature the Dr Bike team, offering free bicycle safety checks and minor repairs for children’s bikes. 🚲 These appointments can take up to 30 minutes and must be booked in advance.

Come along, get active, get creative, and enjoy the community spirit of Play in the Park! 💚

Good luck to England in today's World Cup semi-final! 🏆⚽

Did you know many of today's England stars didn't begin their journey in elite facilities? They honed their skills in local parks, on recreation grounds, at grassroots clubs and on pitches at the heart of their communities.

From Bukayo Saka playing in local green spaces in West London, to Marcus Rashford at Fletcher Moss Rangers, Jude Bellingham at Stourbridge Juniors, and Dan Burn's journey through Sunday league football, their stories show that talent can grow anywhere when young people have the chance to play.

That's why protecting parks, playing fields and grassroots sports clubs matters. These spaces don't just support healthier, happier communities – they help inspire the next generation of athletes who will take to the world stage.

Every child deserves somewhere close to home to kick a ball, build confidence and discover what they're capable of.
