Pembrey Round 3:
It was our first ever time at Pembrey race circuit so we were going into the weekend without any experience on this track!
Practice/qualifying: we went out scrubbing a new front and rear tyre and just getting to grips with the track qualifying 3rd overall and 2nd in class!
Race 1: The grid was messed up so we had to start from 4th!! We got off to a cracking start into 3rd and we were having a battle for 2nd overall until we rodded the engine cutting that race short 😬🙃
The team managed to get the engine swapped over in a hour and a half to get us back out for race 2! But because we broke down in that race we had to start from the back of the grid in 9th place!
Race 2: From the back of the grid we got a cracking start getting into 4th place over all 3rd in class before the first corner! But there was a problem with the quick shifter everytime we’d change up a gear it would cut the engine after we had a great battle with Ged and Lindsy for 2nd place but they got the better of us and we ended that race in 3rd place!
Sunday:
Over night we completely took the quicksh*ter off as it caused more problems than its worth!
Race 3: starting 4th place on the grid again we got off to a cracking start into 2nd place before the first corner! We really found our feet in this race setting our fastest time of the weekend and best result of the weekend 2nd overall and 2nd in our championship! 🏁
Race 4: we’d worked our way up to the front row of the grid getting off to another cracking start leading into the first corner then all of a sudden our fairing started flapping all around the place as the R clip must’ve snapped Bryn tried to keep it down but it was too dangerous to continue so we had to call our race short! 😦
It was another good weekend getting 2 podium finishes we’ve had a fair while since anything had gone wrong with the bike it’s just one of those things! We would like to thank our team and everybody who continues to support us we appreciate more than you would know 🔥👍🏼🏁
