SBE will be joining the following social sports:
Mens Football / Mixed Basketball / Mixed Netball / Tennis.

Hi everyone,
Social Sports🏐🏀⚽ are resuming this week in Netball, Football and Basketball. I think most of you are already in the group chats but if you are not contact one of the SIOs and they will add you.
You must have a negative Covid test within the last 7 days before the fixture and will need to book on the lboro sport app just like before.
Lets try and make the most of this term 😎

Hi everyone,

As some of you may have seen from lborosocialsport on instagram, social sport along with IMS are not returning in December. This is gutting but hopefully next year we will relatively be back to normal and continue fixtures for all sports.

FOOTBALL LEAGUES ARE STARTING TOMORROW!

SBE Mens Football 2 are playing tomorrow - if you signed up on the app previously for this Sunday slot time and would like to play tomorrow in our 18:30 -19:15 slot time comment your name below. The first 8 to comment (with anyone who is happy to play in goal getting a preference) will play tomorrow. EDIT: ALL PLACES GONE

For the others who signed up for the Monday slot time on the Playwaze app 20:40 - 21:25 there will be a match on and a post will be released in the evening for you to comment and sign up.

For those who signed up for the Thursday slot time SBE Mens Football 3 18:00-18:45 we will be doing a post on Monday for you to comment on.

We are trying to get this organised so please comment ASAP.

The league commences from tomorrow. The fixtures and the team lists are on the playwaze website.

Contact your captains and let them know about your availability ASAP. We understand that a few students are isolating so informing in advance can help us preparing for the game with other available players.

Monday 26/10/2020 (20:40-21:25)
SBE men’s football vs Taki Tika FC

Thursday 29/10/2020 (18:00 - 18:45)
SBE men’s football 3 vs Holywell SDC Operations

The games consist of two 15 minute halves
All games are at the hollywell pitches.
Rules will be explained by the captains after the team is decided.
It’s a 6-a-side (2 max subs)

NOTE: after confirming your spot with your captains, you need to book your place on the Lboro sport app, depending on which pitch you are playing on.

On arrival, wait outside the pitche with your mask on while social distancing and have your app booking ready!

First ODE Announcement - Badminton 🏸 - 1st November!
SBE are signing up a team and are looking for people to play for us. A team consists of 3 guys and 3 girls but if there is lots of interest we can always sign more teams up.
It is a mixed doubles format played in the SDW. AU Badminton ( including development ) can't play in this event but if you play for any other AU sports team you can play for us!

A Poll will be coming very soon of what times people would be most available to play as we can only sign up for one slot time that will remain fixed for the year.
This is a great chance to play some social sport for your department and meet new people so please register interest and make sure your fellow SBE classmates follow too!
