Lawford United U13’s 7-1 VICTORY!

What a performance! The team delivered an outstanding away win against Kenilworth Juniors, full of energy, positivity, and relentless effort from start to finish. Right from kick-off, the intensity was superb, pressing high, winning the ball back quickly, and making full use of the pitch with confident, attacking football.

What a morning for Lawford United U13’s, two games, non-stop action, and a team full of heart, quality, and determination!
In the first match, Lawford came out firing and showed incredible battling spirit from the first whistle. Every player gave it everything, fighting for every ball and playing with real passion and positivity. Ronnie lit things up on the left wing, driving forward and finishing brilliantly! Despite a huge effort and some tough luck, the game ended in a narrow 2–1 defeat.
And then came the response…
Lawford United dominated the second game from start to finish in a brilliant 4–0 victory, playing as a true team. Reggie grabbed his first goal for the club, a massive moment and fully deserved after an outstanding display, earning him Man of the Match! Ronnie was on fire again, bagging his second of the day, while Goldie added a great third. Jay then capped it off in style with an absolute rocket for the fourth ….what a finish!
Across the pitch, the performances were top class. A HUGE thank you to Will who stepped up big time and played in defence, showing determination, composure, and support for his team!

Tough away game today against the league leaders, Stockingford Juniors, ending in a 4–1 loss. Despite the result, the performance was outstanding. We played some great football, kept our heads up, and stayed positive throughout.

Proud of the team’s effort and attitude—real battling spirit from everyone. Conor was superb in goal, pulling off some fantastic saves and fully deserved Man of the Match. ⚽👏

We were happy to get on the scoresheet from the penalty spot, but most importantly, we keep learning and improving. Let’s keep working hard, especially on our positioning, and take this momentum into the next game.

Lawford Utd U13s

A strong team performance saw us come away with a well-earned 2–1 victory against Warwick Juniors.

Conor was excellent in goal, making several great saves at important moments to keep us in the game. His shot-stopping helped the team stay in control when the opposition applied pressure.

Reggie played some quality passes out to the wing, helping us stretch the opposition and move the ball forward effectively. Tilly used the space really well throughout the match, finding good positions and supporting the attack.

Ronnie’s corners were outstanding, consistently delivering dangerous balls into the box and putting the Warwick Juniors defence under pressure.

Bence also put in a great shift, working hard to track back in defence and helping the team stay organised at the back.

Overall it was a great team effort and a well-deserved win.

A great win for the U7s today in what seems like forever since they last played a game!

From going behind to drawing level before going on to win - it was a great effort from everyone involved.

U13s Match report v Wellesbourne

After a long break due to Christmas and cancellations for weather the u13s came back strong and won 4:3 against Wellesbourne in a tough thought match. Archie opened the scoring followed by James, Will and Josh who finishing off the scoring by stepping up for a penalty.
