🏆 Annual Mixed 4s Competition 2026 🏆

On Sunday 30th August, Long Ashton Bowling Club proudly hosted our annual Mixed 4s Competition.

The weather gods certainly smiled on us as 22 teams from across the West Country and South Wales battled it out in a day of fantastic bowling.

In a closely contested competition, the honours went to "Holes for Bowls" from Shaftesbury, who pipped last year's champions, the "Portishead Pirates", by a single point.

A huge thank you to all our competitors for making the event such a success, and to our amazing army of volunteers whose hard work and dedication helped create such a fabulous day.

Congratulations to all involved, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year! 🏆🏅👏

🏆 More Success for Long Ashton Ladies! 🏆

A team of Long Ashton ladies swept the board at the West Backwell Triples Competition.

The trio of Urszula Eaton, Sarah Buxton and Pauline Hodges produced a superb display, winning all four of their matches and conceding a remarkable total of just 8 shots throughout the entire day!

The "Spritzers" from LA defeated rivals from Portishead RBL , Yatton, and Nailsea along the way.

A fantastic achievement and another great success for Long Ashton.

🌞Sun Shines on Our Club Hog Roast ☀️

Our 40th Anniversary celebrations continue in style!
On Friday evening, nearly 90 members joined us for a fantastic night of bowling followed by a delicious hog roast.

With glorious sunshine and great company, it was a wonderful occasion to celebrate the people who have made our club what it is today.

A huge thank you to all our members who have contributed so much to the club over the years. We are incredibly grateful for your support, dedication and friendship.

Special thanks must also go to our wonderful Sandra for organising such a successful and enjoyable event.

Here's to many more memorable celebrations as we mark this special anniversary year! 🎉🏆🥳
