UEL Marrow UEL Marrow are University students and volunteers who sign up people to the bone marrow donor register to try & save the lives of those with blood cancers

UEL Marrow is a student run branch of Anthony Nolan. We sign people onto the bone marrow register to help save the lives of people dying of blood cancers. We also raise money for the charity since saving lives and conducting excellent research are both expensive processes for the charity but desperately need to be funded. WE NEED YOU! We are looking for volunteers to help set up a new Marrow group

at UEL University. We will give you all the support you need in setting up the group along with giving new volunteers full training. If you would like to volunteer or get involved then email [email protected]

Mission
We aim to give every student at UEL University and other members of the community the opportunity to join the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Register. Company Overview
UEL Marrow is a student run branch of Anthony Nolan. Throughout the year we run recruitment event, signing people onto the bone marrow register via saliva sample along side raising money for the charity and raising awareness in our community. People with leukaemia and other blood cancers often need a bone marrow transplant as a last ditch attempt at saving their life. However, 70% of people need an unrelated donor, and as bone marrow is very specific, it is very difficult to find a close match. One person may only have one match in the whole world! To increase chances of finding a match, we need more people on the register, in all ethnic groups, so come along to one of our clinics and join! General information

!!! ATTENTION ALL GREEK- CYPRIOTS!!!

UEL Marrow has been contacted by the Hellenic Cypriot society seeking an urgent compatible stem cell donor for Stella! The stem cell register needs ethic diversity, and the more people who attend the event on the 31st March and register with Anthony Nolan, the more of a chance people like Stella will have at surviving this vicious form of cancer.
