Just my thoughts Mental health:
I am no expert on this subject far from it...but over the years I have developed my own techniques that I feel help with my own mental well-being.
I have picked them up from books - development coaches and the like. It’s important to understand that the strategies are not a one size fits all approach. Something that works for someone may not work for someone else.
Just a quick message to everyone out there, everyone struggles with their mental health from time to time the first thing to realise is that it is normal & you are not alone.
There is help available & never be afraid to reach out, that in itself is a brave decision. It may be talking to a family member a friend or a counselling service provided by your local NHS.
Things I find help me, some may sound cliche but they hopefully they may help.
Journaling (writing your thoughts and feelings down & working out times or situations that trigger anxious or low feelings)
Fresh air ( a nice walk in nature if possible)
Keeping hydrated
Catching up with a friend or family member
Working out (especially when you don’t feel like it)
Eating fresh non processed food
Box breathing for 5 minutes
(Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for for seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds & hold again for 4 seconds...repeat this for 5 minutes)
Mediation for 5 minutes (light a incense stick - put on some relaxing music and be still & try to relax)
