London Cornish Pilot Gig Club London's first Cornish Pilot Gig rowing club, bringing the traditional and fast-growing Cornish sport of sea-going gig rowing to the Thames.

London's first Cornish Pilot Gig rowing club, rowing in Richmond and the Royal Albert Dock (near City Airport). We're open to new members and if you’d like to row with us, please email [email protected]. We're open to all abilities, whether you want to row socially for exercise or get down to some serious racing. We'd love to hear from you! We are counting down the days to one of our favourite events of the year! The pasties are ordered, the bar is being stocked and the DJ is booked. Come and join us for pre-race drinks on Friday 11th September and at our GRR After Party on Saturday 12 September. Did you see the eclipse? We did! It was great to have 2 crews out on the river this evening and to find a relatively quiet spot to watch the moon move across the sun. Good times on the water, and far, far less crowded than anywhere else in Richmond this evening!

May was a busy month for - the best weekend at the World champs, back in Richmond lots of social and training rows, learn to row course, Chiswick Dash and boat manoeuvres welcoming Phoenix back from Scilly.
