Matt has been Jordan’s putting coach since 2011, alongside coaching several other DP World Tour players. The club’s two-Oval crest, bearing the words ‘Instituted AD 1608.’ The origin of this date lies in the accession of James VI of Scotland to the throne of England as James I in 1603, and the subsequent arrival of his Scottish court at the royal palace of Greenwich, lying between Blackheath and the Thames.

The crown and rose, thistles and St Andrew’s cross contained in the crest symbolise the club’s tradition as a golf club for Scots in England.

The club’s current crest (3rd image), was designed and commissioned in 2012.
