Look to the sutras of Patanjali for teachings on aparigraha - non attachment
When we practise yoga we engage in the practise of non attachment to outcome, be this in karma , raja or Bhakti yoga.
Whether you’re practising poses or devotional ritual, non attachment is key
Practising for the benefit of being fully present in the moment, without attachment to one’s goals or any perceived benefits of the practise.
Dance like you just don’t care - then you are fully in the dance-
Aparigraha - non grasping
Jon me for classes in Devon. Home of the wonderfully named ‘Six legged Nomad Bee’
Native to the area…..
Om Mata Om Kali 🙏🕉
“The six legs of this bee
So say the Sages of yore
Are the six paths to Liberation;
The embodiment of Love, the source also of pain
Life is meaningful if this Truth be seen”
