🌟 Exciting Announcement for Our Community! 🌟
We’re thrilled to share that New Eltham Gators FC, in partnership with Little Crocs Football Coaching, has been awarded funding from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, delivered in partnership with Sported. 🙌💙⚽
The Barclays Community Sport Fund provides grants, training, and resources to help reduce inequalities in sport – with a focus on football, tennis, and cricket. It supports grassroots organisations like ours who are committed to making sport more accessible to young people from underrepresented groups.
Thanks to this funding, we’ll be launching girls-only football sessions right here in New Eltham. These sessions are designed to:
⚽ Break down barriers that prevent girls from joining football
⚽ Offer affordable, inclusive training in a safe, supportive space
⚽ Provide equipment so every girl can take part, no matter her background
⚽ Encourage confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills through sport
Football isn’t just about the game – it’s about belonging, friendships, and opportunities. With the support of Barclays and Sported, we’ll be able to reach girls in our community who may not otherwise have the chance to play, helping them to feel empowered both on and off the pitch. 👧💪
