I don’t care if this is politically correct or not...
I believe “looking good” is a perfectly valid reason to get fit.
We can try to dress up fitness as ONLY being about health. And yes, health is a big reason why I do what I do.
But you know what, it’s ALSO thrilling to glance in the mirror and love what you see.
Is that vain?
Maybe.
And can some people be TOO narcissitically obsessed with how they look?
Sure.
But you’re human. I’m human. And just about every human, to some degree, wants to feel good about how they look.
Welcome to the club.
It doesn’t do anyone any good to lie and make believe something that’s important isn’t important.
So here’s a “Guilt & Shame Removal” process to unleash newfound motivation.
Say out loud...
“I want X... and that’s okay.”
Perhaps that’s, “I want to look good naked, and that’s okay.”
Take anything else you or society leads people to feel guilty about and own it.
Now, I’m not advocating you only rely on “shallow motives” to drive you. Instead, I’m saying you can have many good reasons to get fit. Each of these reasons can have their place.
What doesn’t have a place is beating oneself up for simply being human. I haven’t seen much good come from that.
After you’ve gone through this process, you’ll likely enjoy a powerful new sense of freedom.
That’s what I’m all about. Giving you the freedom to live life on your terms. The freedom to eat and train the way you want and get results. And to do all this for the reasons that are important to YOU.
If you want the freedom to unapologetically build your best body, then DM me ‘READY’ and we’ll get to work
